that i am a part of. i'm a met fan and i get sick of the anal retentive ways of some of the fans and the mods. i just want to say that whenever i post here i feel welcomed and that we can respond to eachother in a cool way. noone here is above anyone else. noone here points fingers or starts shit.
i appreciate that about you folks.

Yeah let's just hope it stays this way when the hoards of bandwagon folks join in T minus 142 days.

R.I.P Boss!

I haven't always done a good job, and I haven't always been successful - but I know that I have tried George Steinbrenner

As much as bandwagoners piss me off, I think it would be good to get a whole new wave of members just as a way of spreading the word of HOTK. Just simply building up the member base in numbers will help build up HOTK reputation. If quality decreases as a result, well that's another story, but I doubt it would.

Anyone think Lebron in NY would bring in Haters into the forum?

I don't want trolls, but I wish we could get legit fans from other teams frequenting the site. We had a real Rockets fan early on, but he stopped posting.

Trolls coming with Lebron? Eh who cares, we can become more draconian with moderation and/or add more mods if need be. There really isn't a single person who posts here regularly who I wouldn't trust to do the job which speaks not only to the administration but to quality of the people here.

Everyone go pat yourself on the back a little bit :)

I dont care about trolls. We would still know who the real fans are. The guys who are still posting in the middle of yet another putrid season. It would be a small price to pay to have the best player in the league on our team.

for us to live with what we have the last 10 years we are no doubt HARDCORE knick fans. am owner i hate. the scott layden and isiah fiasco's. larry brown and his childness. 10 years of herb as the big coach and ewing not getting the chance. ewing only made yao and howard much better players,.not taking oak to teach toughness. watching duhon and eisley run this team.
i don't think i need to say more. lol

not to get OT, but where would Curry be today if we had brought in Ewing from the get-go? Granted he has been working with two studs in Yao and Dwight, but could he have made chicken salad from chicken shit?

Curry was a disaster from the beginning, it was an incredibly stupid trade from the beginning (and I knew that), especially given all the rumors about his heart condition.

I think the lesson learned was to never make a trade with Chicago again (well except Jerome James and Anthony Roberson for Larry Hughes) that was alright
