If they finally get rid of Melo they will go into rebuild mode. Trading Melo means handing the keys to Porzingis, who will need time to adapt to being the main cog.

Rebuilding is the only logical course of action at this point. What more evidence is needed? It's been 17 years since they traded Patrick Ewing. And they've been in "win now" mode for all but 2 of those years when they tanked two seasons thinking a Knicks logo and cap space would get LeBron James.

If the Knicks had rebuilt then we would be winning by now. Doesn't get any more ironic (or moronic) then that.

He doesn't want to deal with trading P.George.

Looks intriguing. If we're stuck at 7, who else is there?

George is so overrated. He's not that guy. He's not a superstar. Bust it down and start over rather than blow all that cash on a guy who can't carry a team anywhere significant. He's a poor man's poorer man's LeBron James.

The funny thing about that time was that - if we hadn't traded for Melo, we would have had more than enough assets to make a run at James Harden. Now mind you, until this year, I was not a big fan over Hardens game, but it's obvious that he's much better than Melo ever was.

2012 ... been five already since Linsanity?

His D is as bad or even worse then Melo's, but at least he truly more then makes up for it on offense.

Yes to Fox or Ntilikina. (Dude is looking like a sleeper) No to Monk. Good player, his athleticism makes him tempting but I'll be disappointed if we are least don't come out with Ntilikina if we don't move up. If we don't move up the other pgs I want more will probably he gone including Fox before we pick giving me flashbacks of Stephen Curry going right before us. smh.

I agree with most of it, but disagree with the draft. His overall drafting isn't terrible. Even Grant wasn't a bad pick if we had kept and developed him. (just a bad trade since Hardaway proved to be better) Can't forget he drafted Hernangomez in the 2nd round too.
